Who We Are

X3M (“Extreme”) Systems is a young, rapidly growing small business, certified 8(a) by the Small Business Administration (SBA). X3M provides technology and programmatic solutions to civilian agencies in response to the full life-cycle of IT, engineering, and PMO requirements. Presently, we provide mission-critical support to virtually every flight project at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC).

X3M has directly supported Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) flight projects for 40+ years, including major missions like the James Webb Space Telescope, the NEXUS satellite servicing program, the laser communications demonstration mission LCRD, and the NOAA collaborative mission Joint Polar Satellite System (JPSS).

JWST

X3M contributes to the mission in the areas of Configuration Management, Scheduling Management, Resource Analyst Support, and Strategic Communications. For both hardware and virtual Configuration Management, X3M has worked on the mission throughout both the initial and final stages of the lifecycle, ensuring that the correct project procedures are developed and followed.

JPSS

X3M manages the people, processes, and activities associated with ensuring the overall success of IT systems and service delivery, while providing IT decision authority to ensure compliance with NASA & NOAA IT Policy and Procedures. Responsible for IT Operations, End User Support, IT Architecture, and Application Development, the team focuses on Program, Flight, and Ground project IT requirements, securing a successful JPSS Mission.

Technical Capabilities include: IT Operations, Compliance Support

LCRD

X3M impacts the project by leading IT efforts in both the Integration & Testing (I&T) of the payload and the ground system development. This includes designing and building the VMware-based system used to support the payload. As the project nears launch, final tests will ensure that LCRD is safely encapsulated for launch.
